My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hedy – this great looking tuxedo is a happy, active kitten. She especially enjoys spending time on the screened area where she can watch everything going on outside. She also has fun playing with toys that roll and make noise. When she is not busy watching outside or playing with toys, she likes racing and playing with all the other kittens. When Hedy needs a rest from playing, she enjoys attention and petting from staff and volunteers, and often takes her rest time in their laps.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this great, easy-going kitten! See for yourself what a terrific addition Hedy would make to almost any home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
