Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ben is a puppy mixed with Labrador and Husky. He's one left behind from a large litter. He was taken to a full county shelter due to the owner not being able to find homes for all the puppies. BHS stepped in and took the seven puppies to a safe foster home. He was born April 24, 2024. Ben is a little smaller than his siblings. He has beautiful soft brown eyes with silver coat. Ben has ears that are reaching for the stars. He is a puppy but once he gets his burst of energy out, he is laid back. He would do well with children that understand getting puppy jumps and nibbles. He gets along with other dogs but needs to be fed separately, due to being raised in a large litter, where he developed food guarding behavior with the other puppies. He does not have food guarding with people. He has not been around cats but yet he is young enough to be trained to enjoy a cat's company. If you are looking to add a pup growing to medium to large size who would become your best friend, Ben is the one for you.
Ben has been dewormed, microchipped, on heartworm preventive and flea/tick preventative, and has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine.
Since he is not yet neutered, Ben is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County.
