My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WEIGHT: 35lbs

Meet Iris- Iris came to us from our friends over at The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter where she was brought in as an owner surrender. The previous owner was not able to continue to care for Iris due to lack of time and housing issues. They reported that Iris lived with kids, cats, and other dogs. They felt that a home with other dogs would be ideal for her, but that it would be if she didn't live in a home with small animals. Here at the shelter, she has played well with other dogs and is great on walks around the neighborhood. Iris is still very much in her puppy era, so a home that is ready to take on her high level of energy and training needs is a must! If you'd like to meet her, feel free to call our adoptions desk or stop by during Browsing Hours: Wed-Sun 11-5.
