My story

Sam is a friendly dog with a big heart, looking for a new home with someone experienced in dog care. Adopted from the Cobb County pound eight years ago, he’s spent most of his life in the backyard with little attention. As a result, he’s not well-trained and will need someone who understands the challenges of working with an under-socialized dog.

Sam is starved for attention and eager to bond, but he can be a bit jumpy as he tries to get close. With patience and consistency, he calms down and responds well to affection. He’s lived outside most of his life, so transitioning to a new environment will require time and effort.
