Vick is a cute ginger tabby male kitten born approximately October 6, 2023.Hi there, my name is Vick. I’m a shy guy who kinda likes to keep back and take in the whole scene. Once I see that everything is safe don’t be surprised if I just plop down in front of you so you can pet me until I fall asleep. In fact, I am a really big fan of sleep. Give me a windowsill, a folded blanket, a cardboard box – I am just an easy guy who would be grateful for a loving home.
When my foster mom found me, it was just my brother (Mick) and I. She asked us what we were doing under something she called a “car” in another thing she called her “driveway”. Anyway, I was too scared to come out and just hung back while Mick checked her out. My foster dad brought us something to eat, but I was still frightened. I ate when they weren’t looking and they kept feeding us, so eventually I got more comfortable. Before long we were scooped up and brought inside their home and out of the heat, rain, and away from the traffic.
Most of my days are spent snoozing, but I love to play with my brother. Foster mom calls it the zoomies where we play tag over the whole house. We have a foster sister Sophie, who is an 80 lb doggy and a human foster brother that is just a little older than 2. Sophie is curious about me and aways comes sniffing around. I don’t mind if we hang out in the same area, but if she’s too hyper I just make my way to somewhere else so that I can go back to snoozing. With my human foster brother, sometimes he’s a little pushy with how he tries to love me. I find avoidance is my best bet if he tries to force me into a hug. I am proud to say that while sometimes he overwhelms me, I’ve never swiped at him.
Mick and I are really close, and looking for a loving home where hopefully we can stay together. We are fully vetted, neutered, and on flea meds. We use the litter box and are pretty good about covering our business. Our foster mom has supplies that she said we can take with us too! If you are considering adding furry family to your existing family, we would love to meet you!
Vick is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated, including rabies. He is litter box trained.
Vick is being fostered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. For more information contact laura@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or text 954-562-6857. You can apply at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the 'Adopt/Foster' Tab.
