Mick is a cute ginger tabby male kitten born approximately October 6, 2023. Hi there, I’m Mick – who are you? I am the kinda fella that is curious about the world and wants to explore all of it. I investigate new sounds and am curious about doors and what’s on the other side. It takes quite a bit to frighten me – except for the vacuum. I am a firm believer in communication, and am also not afraid to tell you how I feel. If I am hungry or if I am looking for some love and want you to pet me, I will let you know.
When my foster mom found me, it was just my brother Vick and I. She asked us what we were doing under something she called a “car” in another thing she called a “driveway”. Anyway, Vick was too scared to come out, so I took the lead and checked her out. My foster dad brought us something to eat, and once he took a few steps back from the bowl I went over to eat. Vick was a scaredy kitten, but I was hungry. They kept feeding us, so eventually I got more comfortable. I was the first one to let my foster mom pet me. Before long we were scooped up and brought inside their home - out of the heat, rain, and away from traffic.
Most of my days are spent snoozing, but I love to play with my brother. Foster mom calls it the zoomies where we play tag over the whole house. We have a foster sister Sophie, who is an 80 lb doggy and a human foster brother that is just a little older than 2. Sophie and I like to play together. I pretend to swat at her and she play-lunges at me. Usually my foster mom or dad will stop us from playing since they are worried about her knowing her own strength, otherwise when I have had enough I will change my tone and move away from her. With my human foster brother, sometimes I let him pet me, but foster mom usually doesn’t let him do it for too long. Anytime he is too intense for me I just give us some space, and have never swiped at him.
Vick and I are really close, and looking for a loving home where hopefully we can stay together. We use the litter box and are pretty good about covering our business. If you are considering adding furry family to your existing family, we would love to meet you!
Mick is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated, including rabies. He is litter box trained.
Mick is being fostered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. For more information contact laura@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or text 954-562-6857. You can apply at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the 'Adopt/Foster' Tab.
