Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application
Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.
Introducing the Pizza Topping litter! These cuties were born to mama Bella (also for adoption) on 5/27/24. Papa is unknown, but he must have been a heartthrob because these pups are gorgeous.
This litter, along with their weights on 7/27, includes:
Mama weighs just under 60 pounds, so our best guess on adult size for these pups would be between 45# for the smallest to perhaps 80# for the largest. Not knowing exactly what is in each pup's genetic mix, we can't really be sure of adult sizes!
All these pups are happy and well adjusted, loving life in their foster home, weaning well from Bella, and will be ready to head out for their new homes around 8/23. They should do well in any sort of loving family, and should adapt fine to homes with other pets and children.
Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. They hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet, and will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty!
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
