My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bronn the Beautificient! We know it's not a word, but there should be some label for a cross between beautiful and magnificent if Bronn is going to be around. This stunning Dutch Shepherd mix adult is as sweet as syrup and SUCH a good boy! Bronn is an adult who weighs a hearty 75 lbs full grown but is gentle as a teddy bear. Bronn has great manners and brings lots of skills with him already including walking well on a leash, house training and overall skills in adjusting quickly and readily to home living. Bronn is a lot of man though he says coyly, and as a result would prefer to be the only male dog in the home and greatly and easily enjoys the company of female dogs. Quiet and well mannered, Bronn melts like butter at the promise of a belly rub and will be a wonderful companion in every way. His coat is stunning and matches the wonderful of his personality. Come meet this handsome hunka man and you will surely see why we have fallen in love.
*Weekend Host feedback: "Bronn is the biggest sweetheart and cuddle bug! He loves belly rubs, walks, cuddles, and to be the life of the party. He does well on walks, and never barked at other dogs even if they barked at him".

Latest Weekend Host commented: "Bronn is great around the house, in the car, and out and about! He loves snuggling with kids and adults alike, bellyrubs, and likes to be wherever you are. " "He has excellent manners when humans are eating and at the front door and has no potty training concerns." "Bronn was comfortable in his crate while we were out for short times." "Bronn tagged along for a soccer game, park outings and neighborhood gatherings! He was calm and easy even with many people around and lots of attention, but was also happy to chill while the humans visited when out of the house or at home when we had company!" " He is overall good on a leash, but will benefit from more practice. "

Additional adoption info

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
