Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foster mom Lori says, “Maggie (Maggles, Magpie), our Sparkle Cat foster kitty. Maggie is about 6 months old and we have fostered her for a few months. Maggie is a very shy girl; however, she has made a lot of progress since we’ve had her. When it’s feeding time, I can pet her, give her ear scratches and even smooch her head. She’s so soft!!! She’s not the type of kitty who will approach you or sit in your lap, at least not yet. She will hang out with you in the same room and she loves being around other cats. She’s very laid back around them and all of my cats adore her. She runs and plays with our youngest, Charlie, and sleeps on the bed with Mimi, who can be intimidating to other cats. Maggie would do best in a cat savvy home with no dogs in the home. She thrives with other cats, so I would suggest that she have at least one other kitty playmate (right now she has 4). Please help me in finding Maggie the perfect forever home…I know it’s out there somewhere. ”

Submit Application

submit an online application at www.sparklecatrescue.org we do not do same day adoptions.

2.
Interview

once your application has been reviewed and approved, our adoption coordinator may contact you.

3.
Meet the Pet

A meet n greet will be set up at a foster home (OR virtually) after adoption application is approved.

Additional adoption info

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as part of the adoption fee.

If you see a cat you would like to adopt, please complete an adoption application interest form and we will set up a meet 'n' greet.

Our application requires 2 non-related references, vet references (we do check), current and past pets you have owned.

We do not do same-day adoptions. All applicants are fully screened (vet references, etc.) to ensure our fur babies go to awesome forever homes!

Sparkle Cat Rescue is incorporated in the State of North Carolina as a nonprofit, with our 501c3 in process. All Sparkle kitties receive lots of TLC and socialization to prepare them for their forever homes! We are 100% volunteer, experienced volunteers/fosters who provide loving homes and lots of socialization for our rescued kitties.

Each SCR kitty is combo tested immediately when they arrive in our program and vaccinated (rabies and FVRCP) if age appropriate.
