My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Put Short Bio here: Victor is the sweetest dog. He is extremely calm in the house and loves to be cuddled. He has such funny expressions! He will smile (especially when you bring him on walks, he loves to go outside!) and he has these big round sweet eyes that will make you fall in love with him!
He truly loves everyone and just wants to find a family or a friend that will give him lots of love and affection. Victor LOVES to play with you and with his toys, as much as he loves food! He would do anything for a treat! He is relaxed in the house and gets a little more active when he's outside. Victor is just so curious of the world and will protect you and listen to you whenever needed. You can easily leave him at home and he will wait for you at the door, but he LOVES company (especially people) of course!
Fill out all below:
Personality & Characteristics: Sweet, Calm, Affectionate, Cuddly, Loves going outside and exploring, Obeying, Protective
My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats) Victor loves people. Some dogs he is fine with, some he gets excited with and wants to play with them, other dogs he does not like and will give them a bark (mainly bc he wants to protect you). Cats not sure. He likes to folllow squirrels and pigeons.
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) House trained. He just needs walks in the am, lunch time, afternoon and evening before bed.
3 Keywords for your pup:
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 5
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Barker when he sees certain dogs. Otherwise very quiet. Never barks in the house.
Walking Manners: He has improved so much with training. He was pulling a bit in the beginning bc of excitement but he now has calmed down and walks with you easily. He has not been neutered yet so he just wants to mark his territory. Victor will just need extra firmness when encountering other animals. Bring a treat and he will obey, sit and give you extra attention on walks.
Appetite: Loves to eat but does not beg for food.
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above) Not a lover of baths but once you get him in he enjoys it. He has a bit of separation anxiety.
Favorite Things: Loves to play, to see the world outside, loves to cuddle and loves treats. He likes to chew on bones and loves to chill in the house.
Commands/Tricks: Sit, stay, Let's go! (for going outside), come here

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
