If you are looking for the perfect dog, you've found him in Duke.
Duke is all temperament all day long. He has it.
Duke was dumped in the California desert and we cannot for the life of us figure out why. There is nothing wrong with him that he would deserve such cruel treatment. He is trained, he is house trained, he is great with other dogs and small animals, like cats and chickens. He has fabulous house manners, he crates nicely, he walks on a leash, he doesn't run away ( though you need to make sure he's safe), he has a great recall. He will crate himself after he is done playing.
He is great with kids, too! He is a young dog so of course he has energy needs, but once he meets those, he is super easy going.
