My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clover recently went on a Dog Day Out and here's what his DDO buddy had to say!

"Just had the best time with this boy CLOVER. What an amazing dog! He was treated to pup cups, treats, toys, cuddles/pets, and a long time exploring the sniffspot at Sweetwater Ct. I was treated to lots of hugs and cuddles from this loving guy. We also spent some time inside a home! Here's some more info on this beautiful boy:

-Clover is a 4 yr old, 49 lb, husky, male, heartworm negative

-very affectionate and likes to be by your side

-medium energy, did some jumping up at first but was easily redirected and quickly settled down

-gentle boy, no mouthiness

-behaved well in the house, didn't jump on counters or have any accidents, did find a small stuffed animal belonging to my child but dropped it when I asked him to

-had a bath and did great in the tub

-easy on leash, did some pulling initially but once some energy was released did well

-perfection in the car, I didn't hear Clover bark the entire day

-took treats very gently

-liked fetching and chasing toys but not aggressive chewer

-has the prettiest eyes, one blue and one brown and cutest pointy ears"

As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines.

To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
