My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fred! Fred is around 3 years old and 70lbs. He is the most perfect basset hound. He adores attention from people and doesn't meet a stranger. He loves children but will find a hiding place if things get too loud. Since Fred is such a social butterfly he does need a fenced in yard to ensure he doesn't wander away. Fred likes to ride around in his foster's golf cart and go on leisurely strolls.

Fred was recently adopted and returned because he didn't get along with the resident basset. We do think Fred would truly thrive as an only dog.

*All adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested (when age-appropriate), microchipped, vet checked, dewormed, and kept on monthly preventatives while in our care.

**All adoptables are listed as not housebroken. It is common for dogs/cats to have accidents when adjusting to a new home and schedule.
