Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.
When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.
Hi, my name is Alamo Momma Angie, and I'm a gorgeous GSD with an estimated DOB of 2/7/23 who was transferred, along with my eight puppies, from a shelter where we arrived as strays and nobody came to claim us. The clock was running out, but thankfully, FRGSR saved us! My puppies were old enough to be weaned, so the shelter started to give me periods of time away from them. They also discovered that I am heartworm positive, and I'm currently undergoing treatment, which will last for about one more month. During this time, I've been restricted to leash-walking, and the vet has recommended that I be kept fairly quiet. I've been living in a foster home with other dogs, two large and one small, and I prefer for dogs not to get right up in my face. Once I warm up to them, I've done fine. I'm fully house-trained and someone from my past taught me to sit and shake. I don't care for being crated, but I can be if I'm given some calming supplements. My foster mom leaves me uncrated when she's gone and I do just fine. I'm not a chewer and I don't get into things. I'm hoping to find someone who can provide me with a quiet setting while I finish my treatment. The rescue has covered the cost of my treatment. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. My adoption fee is $400.
Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, the animals you see may already be in an adoption process.
