Meet this cutie named Phoebe ! Phoebe and her brother Chandler came into the shelter June 18, 2024 as strays and were never reclaimed so they have been keeping their paws crossed that their adoption day will come soon. They have seen a lot of their shelter mates being adopted and are wondering when their turn is coming. Phoebe is around 16 weeks old (8/10/24), current on shots, been dewormed, and so excited to meet her new person or family. Such an adorable kitten who needs an awesome loving FOREVER home to call her own. Maybe you have the most perfect loving home for Phoebe and maybe a friend too…kittens do the best in pairs…always a friend around to keep company. Also clipping your kitties nails reduces their need to scratch to file nails back…may require one person holding while other clips the tips of their nails. Also another tip for kitties is climbing towers…they love to climb and it’s extra fun having a tall towers oh and plenty of toys too.
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. We are a non-profit orginization relying on donations. We do have a contract witht the county to provide shelter for strays brought in. We have limited space but try to get our animals back to thier families and if that can not be accomplished we work hard on finding them new homes.
We do what we do because we love animals. We are realistic in in efforts, understand the problem and work towards educating the public on what needs to be done to prevent over population.
