My name is Casey!

Casey is a sweet and loyal dog with forever puppy energy. She loves being outdoors and her very favorite activity is swimming. She will swim for hours. She also likes retrieving objects or trash from the ocean and bringing them ashore. She is great off leash on hiking trails and loves playing fetch at the park. She is friendly with other dogs but people are her true love. She absolutely loves people. And food or treats. She is sweet and patient with our 18-month old as the toddler explores her boundaries and pulls on her ears and tail or pats her a little too hard. She loves exercise but doesn't need it as much as when she was a puppy; if she is stuck indoors she just sleeps or rests.
We got Casey on the East Coast when she was about 6 months old. We have loved having her in our family but don't have the capacity and resources to care for her as much as we did before we had a human baby.
