My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Kimbob! 🐾
Hi there! I’m Kimbob, a 4-year-old female Jindo mix with a beautiful white coat. I weigh 14 kg and am looking for my forever home! 🐶
My Story: I entered a kill shelter with my two babies. They were adopted in Korea, and now I’m left alone, hoping to find a loving family too. 💖
My Personality:
• Shy but Sweet: I’m a bit shy at first, but if you give me a snack, I’ll quickly become your friend and let you pet me. 🍪
• Easy to Lift: You can lift me by putting your arm under my belly. 🐾
• Polite with Dogs: I approach strange dogs to greet them but don’t play with them much. 🐕
• Cautious with New Dogs: I might fight back if provoked, especially over toys or snacks, so a bit of caution is needed. 🦴
• Low Interest in Dogs: I show little interest in other dogs. 🐶
• Unknown with Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so my reaction is unknown. 🐱
• Outdoor Enthusiast: I enjoy outdoor activities with a normal energy level but love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳
• Leash Behavior: I have plenty of walking experience and follow well without pulling on the leash. 🚶‍♀️
• Food Behavior: I don’t guard my food against people but might growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating. 🍲
• Quiet Companion: I hardly ever bark. 🤫
• Calm in Kennel: I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠
• Bathroom Habits: I generally only do my business outside. 🚽
Fun Facts:
• At first, I might look shy and sassy, but I let strangers pet me. When new dog friends approach, I tend to avoid them, but I’m not aggressive.
• I’m very food-motivated, so if another dog tries to take my snack, I might growl. 🍖
• I’m very clean and walk well too! 🚶‍♀️
Looking for My Forever Home: If someone is interested in me, I can be placed in a foster home for a personality check. I hope I can have that opportunity to show how loving and sweet I can be. 🏡💕
Paws and Kisses,
Kimbob 🐾

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
