My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Hadol! 🐾
Q: What’s your name?
A: Hi there! I’m Hadol, a 3-year-old male mini Jindo mix with a charming brown coat. 🐶
Q: How much do you weigh?
A: I weigh 13 kg, just the right size for lots of fun and cuddles! 💖
Q: Can you tell us about your rescue story?
A: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time. They said I have a cute face and a kind personality. Now, I’m looking for my forever home where I can share my love and playfulness! 🏡
Q: What are you like?
A: I’m very affectionate and love approaching people, both familiar faces and strangers. I enjoy rubbing against them and getting lots of pets. 🥰
Q: How do you feel about other dogs?
A: I’m friendly with dogs I know and even strange dogs, greeting them and asking them to play. However, I might fight back if provoked, especially over toys or snacks, so a bit of caution is needed. 🐕
Q: What about cats?
A: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱
Q: Do you enjoy outdoor activities?
A: Absolutely! I love outdoor activities and have a normal energy level. After a good play session outside, I prefer to rest quietly. 🌳
Q: How do you behave on a leash?
A: I tend to pull on the leash but generally follow well. 🚶‍♂️
Q: Are you protective of your food?
A: I don’t guard my food against people but might growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating. 🍲
Q: Do you bark a lot?
A: I bark demandingly when I want something, but otherwise, I’m pretty quiet. 🗣️
Q: How do you feel about kennels?
A: I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠
Q: What are your bathroom habits?
A: I use both indoor pads and go outside for my bathroom needs. 🚽
Q: Do you mark your territory?
A: Yes, I tend to mark my territory in new places, so a diaper might be helpful initially. 🚻
Q: Any fun facts about you?
A: I’m very bright and playful, always energetic and ready to approach strangers with enthusiasm. I try to be an alpha male and might run towards other dogs to control them, so it’s recommended to see how I react if adopted into a home with another dog. 🐾
Q: What kind of family would be a good fit for you?
A: I’m very energetic, so a family with lots of outdoor activities would be perfect for me. I prefer men and, with my energy level, a male adopter is preferred. 👨
Q: Are you ready for your forever home?
A: Yes! I’m looking for a lively and loving family that enjoys outdoor activities and can handle my energetic personality. Are you the one who can give me the forever home I deserve? Let’s find out together! 🏡💕
Hugs and Tail Wags,
Hadol 🐾

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
