Hi I’m Fernando! I’m a friendly pup and I like other dogs once I get introduced. I can be a little nervous in new situations so I need someone to help me feel comfortable and confident. I love playing in the doggie pool and I’m a great snuggler! I’m very food motivated so we can have lots of fun together learning new things! I try to listen and do what I’m supposed to. But if I think I’m in trouble I can get nervous and l lose confidence. I need a little understanding and patience but I’ll reward you with lots of love! SDRD is a state licensed 501(c)3 non-profit no kill dog rescue and group foster home located in Topeka, KS.

It is our goal to network with other local rescues and shelters to save dogs that are at risk for being euthanized due to lack of space.

We are committed to educating the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.
