My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marigold, a tenderhearted adult dog with a disposition as warm as her name suggests. Shy by nature, Marigold takes her time to get to know new people, but once she does, she showers them with affection. Her cuddly nature is irresistible, making her the perfect companion for cozy evenings at home. Marigold`s gentle spirit is a testament to her resilience and capacity for love. Despite her shyness, she has a remarkable ability to sense when her human friends need comfort and responds with heartwarming empathy. Marigold is a truly special dog who deserves a loving forever home where she can continue to share her unique blend of warmth, affection, and resilience. Adopt Marigold, and you will gain not just a pet, but a loyal and loving friend.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
