My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SMITH & WESSON are 8-year-old littermates, brother and sister, who came to us after their young owner died. They have lived their whole lives together and can live in a new house together although they do not love each other. We are listing them together because Wesson by itself sounds like cooking oil but in fact, they can be adopted separately. Smitty and Wesson are very friendly with people – they enjoy belly rubs and treats! they are both large and handsome cats! Prior coming to us, they were spayed and neutered and are up-to-date on vaccines, FIV/leukemia negative. Adoption $50 per kitty. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you're interested in adding Smith or Wesson or both to your family!

Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
