Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kobie is quite literally the perfect dog. I'm not kidding when I say this, there is NOTHING he'd rather do than be up close to people. Whether it's by snuggling, following them around, or nudging his big old head into your legs for some loving. He is something else, a serious velcro dog. But the good part is, when people are away, he's okay with it, too! He will happily gnaw on a bone, and wait for some more snuggle time! When he isn't enjoying his favorite parts of every day, (hanging out with people, and getting loved on incessantly!) He can typically be found snoring away on a doggy bed, or gnawing on a beloved bone! But when it comes down to playtime, Kobie, at his matured age of just over 4 years old, is all in! He enjoys romping the dog yard with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, and sharing the wonderful game of fetch (no retrieve unless it's got to do with strutting about, then he's all in) with all of them! We know Kobester will do amazingly in just about any home due to his amazing temperament, his LOVE for companionship! What could be better than an already crate-trained, gentle, basic command knowing, good on a leash pooch to be the one you adopt into your home? Let alone one that is 100% willing to keep himself occupied while you're away at work, or out at the shops! Toss this guy a bone, and he's the happiest 65 pound camper you'll ever see!
My adoption fee is only $210! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter!
Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!!
Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromisation, & behavioral concerns.
DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following:
Interview with or paperwork from with the previous owner
Intake evaluation observations (behavior, physical appearance, and energy level)
Source documents from which to analyze characteristics
Consultation with other staff
