My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dionysus is a gorgeous cat who is new to domestic, indoor life. This black-and-white beauty was trapped and brought into foster care shortly after giving birth. She was a wonderful momma to her babies despite the stressful circumstances. She still loves playing with and fussing over her kittens. We hope that her adopter will consider keeping her with one or both of her daughters, Mini Moo and/or Pound Cake.

Dionysus would be a fabulous companion to another cat or three. She came up in a cat colony and is good at making friends, and loves the attention of other cats.

Dionysus still has some reservations about humans and is skittish when people are active around her. She tends to hide and enjoy quiet time during the day. When she is handled she freezes up--she has never scratched or bitten. That being said, she LOVES being petted and is becoming more trusting each day (especially if a Churu treat is being offered!). She is also very playful and comes running into the room when she hears her toys coming out. Her favorite toys are strings, a peacock feather, and a clump of feathers on a string.

We are confident that with a patient family, she will blossom into a wonderful, loving pet.
