My name is Telly!

I told Telly that as handsome as he is and with such a good attitude that he would get a loving home soon. He must’ve heard me because he was so happy that his tail never stopped wagging! He is a three year-old 57 pound black and white American Bulldog that came to Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/10 as a stray. Now no one’s perfect, right? Well, Telly does occasionally jump on you but will get down with a stern command. He just needs a little bit more practice on this. He definitely wants to please. He’s very friendly, playful, affectionate and alert. When I wiped some mud off him, he just sat down and was very patient. He pranced and frolicked around the room in which I did his eval. He walks very well on a leash. He did his business when he got out in the yard. He was like the welcome wagon when it came to meeting other dogs. Telly wants to be an inside dog mostly so he can love on his new family. It’s too hot in Texas for the sweet boy to be outside in the heat!
