These sweet babies were born under someone's shed because the so called owners of the mom cat did not feed her (or any of their cats because they want them to be mousers and they are horrible with all their animals, so she found another place to have them. But they did not want them there either so called us to take them away. These poor animals were not asked to be born and are only trying to survive!!
Now everyone including mom has been spayed or neutered and these 2 have been at a wonderful foster's home who have made them the loves they are!! So sweet, very playful and lovable.
They are also up to date on their FVRCP and rabies shots, flea and worm treated and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
We do want them to stay together, so if you want the perfect pair, these 2 are for you!

If you are interested in meeting one of our cats, you can fill out our online adoption application at www.castawaycatsde.com. Once we receive your application we will contact you with any questions we may have, and then will set up a day and time for you to meet the cat/cats. Once a match is found for your family, there is an $85 adoption fee. This fee covers spaying/neutering of your cat, worming, all shots including rabies, ear mite and flea treatment, and Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing. All adoptions are done on a trial basis so we can be sure everyone is happy. Our goal is to find the best possible cat for you and to ensure our cats have happy forever homes.

More about this rescue

Castaway Cats is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cat rescue based in Bear, DE, comprised entirely of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and all of our cats are in foster homes. This rescue was started in 1992 in an effort to help the homeless and feral cats in our area. Each cat we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated with FVCRP and rabies shots, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Because all our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, we do not adopt out kittens under the age of 12 weeks.
