My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hedwig was pulled out of Apple Valley Shelter before being euthanized. He is Shepherd mix, about 70 lbs, about 2 yrs old. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is friendly  with dogs. He has obedience and behavioral training with our trainers. He is a very good well behaved dog. If you take his toys away he doesn't act up he just moves on to either playing or taking a nap. He loves to swim and is a good swimmer :) He has a very good temperament. He would fit great with someone who can take him on walks and keep him active. If there are days he can't be so active if you give him a  ball  he will love it and will be well occupied. He is friendly with people with proper introduction. He is timid at the beginning as we think he wasn't socialized in his past life.  He doesn't do any excessive barking. He very much enjoys human attention and would make a great cuddle buddy for when him and his future owner just want to watch a movie. If you are interested in adopting , foster to adopt or just foster Hedwig please contact the rescue.

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Most of my pets are with the foster in Tijuana ( Mexico). I have 1-2 fosters in USA but they have been busy lately. If anyone is interested in adopting one of my rescue dogs they get transported to San Diego and I pick them up and take them to their new owner and they get adopted. I haven't had an adoption event yet but if I do in the future will be at Pet Food Express because I am a rescue partner with them.
I also had some puppies rescued within California

More about this rescue

I fostered for a rescue for about a year. 4 of my rescue puppies( siblings) had Parvo and one didn't make it and rest ended up in the hospital. After being treated and survived Parvo they came back to me to foster them for 2 weeks before adoption. I ended up adopting one of the puppies ( foster fail) and I opened my rescue because of him and he is my rescue logo too.I want to save dogs and treat them and give them a forever home. Give them a second chance same way my foster fail had a second chance of living.
