My name is Nixie!

Meet Nixie!  Nixie gave birth to 4 kittens while she was here at the rescue. She came to us as a stray and came very pregnant. She was such a wonderful mother. She is very loving, affectionate, and so friendly!  She is great with all humans, children included!  

Nixie would make a wonderful cat to any home. She loves to play and loves to snuggle. She seeks attention and would love to cozy up with any human she can find!  We believe she is about 1 years old and is a little less than 7 pounds. Nixie came to us with a scar on her eye, so we think she had some prior injury. But this doesn't hinder her and she seems to be able to see normally and she doesn't have any discharge/concerns with it.

Nixie is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and has a negative fecal test!  She is currently in a foster home with our kitten Truffle and the foster family's adult cat and she does great with them! She has also been introduced to a large dog and a small dog and didn't seem to mind them.

The $50.00 adoption fee (  payable by cash or check only  ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; senior bloodwork, microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing.

Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application.  Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
