Meet Biscuit, the 2-year-old Lab mix who is as unique as they come! With one mesmerizing blue eye and one warm brown eye, Biscuit is not just a handsome pup but also a bundle of joy and energy. Biscuit is a big, playful boy who thrives around dogs his own size. If you have a dog who loves to play and run around, Biscuit could be the perfect new friend. While he enjoys the company of like-sized dogs, he prefers a home without smaller dogs and is not a fan of cats. However, he’s fantastic with kids who understand the playful nature of a big puppy, making him a great companion for an active family. Biscuit has a bit of a social butterfly side too! He previously attended daycare at Daisy's Pet Playground, where he enjoyed interacting with other dogs and getting plenty of playtime. He’s a smart and spirited boy who would love to continue learning and exploring new things in his forever home. We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
