Hi there! I’m Dew, a 3-year-old female Donggyeongi mix with a beautiful white coat. I weigh 15 kg and stand 45 cm tall. 🐶
My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time. They said I was kind, calm, and matured early, which made them sad. But I’m ready to find my forever home and show my true, happy self! 💖
My Personality:
• Shy but Sweet: I’m a bit shy at first, but if you give me a snack, I’ll quickly become your friend and let you pet me. 🍪
• No Experience with Kids: I haven’t met children under 13 years old yet. 👶
• Easy to Lift: You can lift me by putting your arm under my belly. 🐾
• Polite with Dogs: I approach strange dogs to greet them but don’t play with them much. 🐕
• Low Interest in Dogs: I show little interest in other dogs for now. 🐶
• Unknown with Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱
• Calm and Low Energy: I like to rest calmly and have a low energy level. 💤
• Leash Behavior: I tend to pull on the leash but generally follow well. 🚶‍♀️
• Sniffing Enthusiast: I focus more on smelling than walking, often stopping and starting repeatedly. 👃
• Food Behavior: I don’t guard my food against people but growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating. When eating with other dogs, I might not eat my food and just growl beside theirs. 🍲

• Calm in Kennel: I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠
• Car Savvy: I know how to get in and out of a car by myself. 🚗

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
