Reno is a 4 year old Pointer mix who is ready to roll the dice and find her forever home! Reno was rescued by another rescue in South Korea and flown to the United States. Unfortunately, her adoptive home was no longer able to care for her and we agreed to take her in. Reno is a gorgeous gal who exemplifies the very best of the Pointer breed. While she may be on the quieter side she has no shortage of love to shower the world in. With her gorgeous coat and Bambi-esque legs, she is the total package. Reno can’t wait to hit the jackpot and slide her way into your forever home today!

Reno is a quiet and loving gal who can’t wait to explore all that California has to offer her! She arrived to us very unsure of the world around her but was open to love and cuddles. It has been amazing to see her personality start to blossom as her tail thumps along the couch during her cuddle sessions. Reno is so loving and sweet, craving affection from those who win her over. Once you secure a spot in her heart, Reno is yours forever. You’ll hit the forever jackpot from the comfort of your home, no need to go to Vegas with this gal in your life! Reno is figuring out toys and has started seeking out soft plushies that she likes to cuddle on her bed. We know that this girl has so much to offer and so much personality to sprinkle around her forever home. If you’re looking for a royal flush of perfection, bring home our Reno today!

Reno starts her day around 7 AM with a trip outside for potty. She has breakfast around 8 AM, which is kibble mixed with wet food as she is gaining some weight. She spends her morning lounging on her bed as her foster family starts their day before she spends some time playing in the yard with her toys. She gets a small snack in the early afternoon and then gets a lot of cuddles on the couch. In the evening, she gets a walk around the block followed by her evening meal. She has enjoyed meeting new people as she strolls around the neighborhood and likes their oohs and ahhs! After her walk, she settles in for some cuddles and pets on the couch. After one more potty trip, Reno heads to her crate for the night.

Reno gets along well with other dogs, especially confident pups who can show her the ropes. She is very strong and working on her leash walking skills, so some more training would serve her well. She loves her crate and finds it a safe space to spend time in. She is house trained and knows to alert when she needs to potty. If you are ready for a fabulous new companion, look no further than our gal, Reno!

Reno is only an option for homes with prior dog owning experience, especially those with shy and large dog experience. Kids in the home should be teenagers or older.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
