My name is Duke!

Duke is a 7 year old rescue that I adopted at 10 months old for my son who has ADHD. I think he’s a Dane mix and is registered as an emotional support animal. Now my son has moved out and could not take him. I work a lot and live in an apartment. I also have a slight allergy to him so being his primary caregiver causes me to break out in hives.

He used to not like small children, but he does not get as startled by them anymore, so I don’t know if that is still the case. He needs a home where someone has more time and ability to interact with him. It would be ideal if there were other dogs in the home. He likes to be involved in whatever is going on. I love him and want him to live his best life.
