Jade is a fun tortoiseshell kitten with one peanut butter paw and a swirl of orange around the nape of her neck. She is curious, playful, and affectionate all in one. She can be a little mischievous and loves to climb things. She also enjoys sneak-attacking her siblings whenever she can! She is a little cautious with new people, so would likely do best in a home with children 10+ years old. Once she sniffs you out though, she sees you as one of the pack and will run to you for pets and love.
Jade is part of the "Gymnastics Litter" born on 6/25/24 to mom Paris. Two boys - Brody and Asher. And 3 girls - Simone, Jordan, and Jade. She would love to be adopted with a sibling or with her mom who is still under a year old herself!!
Jade is fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is FIV/FeLV negative and will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to final adoption. She is also litterbox trained, socialized, and available locally for our foster-to-adopt program RIGHT NOW! She is good with other cats and is fostered with two dogs who are teaching her dogs are not so scary after all.

Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
