My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bonanza! This four-year-old French Bulldog is a big, sturdy boy with a big heart. Bonanza is searching for a special homea quiet, peaceful place with people who understand that sometimes he needs a little downtime to feel his best. He needs a family who understands his sensitive nature & will help him feel safe & secure with gentle surroundings & a low-key environment. Bonanzas ideal home will be one that respects his need for calm & provides a soft landing as he adjusts. He bonds best through quality time, so a loving, slow-paced adjustment period will help him truly connect with his new family. Though hes crate-trained, Bonanza can get a bit stressed by loud noises or unfamiliar visitors while hes insidehes just not a fan of the commotion, & who can blame him? Leash-trained & ready for a quiet adventure, Bonanza prefers the peacefulness of a secluded beach or a calm nature trail over busy streets or dog parks. Bonanza has been working with a trainer on managing overstimulation & has learned a lot, but hell need a family who appreciates his Frenchie nature & is committed to supporting him with patience & understanding. This smart boy knows basic commands & is potty trained, though hell do best on a regular schedule in his new home. Bonanza is not only specialhes also incredibly handsome, & hes excited to find a family who will see him for the sensitive, loving soul he is! His adoption donation has been adjusted to reflect the training & care hes received to help him transition smoothly. If youre ready to bring this handsome Frenchie into your life & show him the love he deserves, Bonanza is waiting to meet his perfect match! Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped & Ready to Go!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Church of Pug.
Everyone at Church of Pug is a volunteer. We wear many hats - we foster pugs, travel to vet appointments, attend fundraising events, process a lot of paperwork, and more. We make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely manner but often the days get away from us. For this reason, we will do our best to reach out to everyone. We’ll let you know your application has been received either through a phone call, text or email.
PLEASE take your time completing the below application and fill out questions in detail! This is the information our adoption team will use to make initial determinations when selecting applicants to proceed in the interview process as dogs become available and we begin the process of finding its forever family.

READ the information on each dog's biography page carefully. If you are interested in applying to adopt a dog, please ensure you meet the stated requirements. All of these dogs live with our foster families and that means we know their story -- we understand what they have been through and what they need in a forever home. All decisions are made with the dogs' best interests in mind.
