Despite being a senior, Dexter’s zest for life is boundless! He might be blind and living with diabetes, requiring two insulin shots a day, but that doesn’t stop him from embracing every day with a wagging tail and a playful attitude! Dexter loves nothing more than a good chew toy or bone and relishes his daily walks. While dog parks might be a bit overwhelming for him, a quiet stroll through the neighborhood or some quality time lounging in the yard are more his speed. Dexter’s calm and composed demeanor shines through, especially when he's left alone for short periods—he’s perfectly fine and content on his own, though he’ll be overjoyed when you return.

If you're ready to take the next step in adoption, the first step is to complete our adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rehomed pets.
Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form, pay the adoption fee, and schedule an adoption date with the pet's current family.
