Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I'm Freddy, a three-year-old mixed breed. Sadly, my previous family couldn't take care of me anymore, so I came to Stray Haven. I'm a good boy who's still adjusting to the shelter environment. It can be intimidating for me, especially since I'm a bit shy and tend to keep to myself.
Although I may not appear very sociable at the shelter, I'm optimistic that a kind and patient individual will give me a chance to get to know them. Once I establish a bond and feel at ease, I enjoy cuddling and engaging in playful activities. I'm a friendly and mild-mannered young fellow who simply requires some time to acclimate to unfamiliar surroundings and individuals.
I'm looking for a loving home where I can feel safe and secure. Ideally, my new family will be able to give me plenty of attention, exercise, and positive reinforcement. With a little patience and understanding, I'll make a loyal and loving companion for someone out there. Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA 194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892 (607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm Closed on Mondays
