For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hey there, I`m Newfie and I`m one energetic pup! I love to play fetch, chase after squirrels, and just run around the yard all day. My favorite thing is when my humans take me to the park - I`ll chase after balls and frisbees for hours, never getting tired. When I`m not busy wearing myself out, you can find me snuggled up on the couch for a good cuddle session. I may be a high-energy guy, but I also love to just relax and hang out with my favorite people. If you`re looking for a furry friend who will keep you active and entertained, I`m your dog! Let`s hit the field and have some fun together. I currently weigh ~26 lbs & may reach between 50-65 lbs when fully grown. How did I get here? Transferred from Warren County Animal Shelter with my littermates; adopted and returned when I wasn`t the right fit for my owner.
**I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**
~My adoption fee is $325.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
