My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

-knows sit, crate, bed, no
-easily went into crate when rewarded with small treat.
-only went potty about 3-4x a day (which is nice that she doesn't need to be prompted to go out often)
-does very well on a leash
-rarely barks
-very loyal and loving with our family, extremely cuddly, understands commands not to get on furniture
-extremely happy to meet adult women and kids
-would do very well with a home that does not expect many in and out visitors as she is afraid of strange men.

*does not appear to like adult men that she does not know.
*does jump up for attention, is responding well to commands of "no" or "down"

More about this shelter

We are a small rural shelter that works very hard to find homes or rescues for our dogs. We have a 97% save rate at our shelter which we are very pleased about. Our staff and volunteers work very hard for our dogs. We are always looking for volunteers to help us clean kennels, walk dogs, and just spend some time with the dogs. Donations are very important for our shelter, as we operate on donations.
We have some of the best dogs in Ohio and would love for them to find a new furever home with you!
