My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Olivia!

GREAT WITH DOGS & LOVES EVERYONE SHE MEETS!!! THRIVING IN FOSTER-JUST NEEDS HER FOREVER FAMILY!

Our darling girl Olivia arrived at GLDR with her cute as a button pup Bruno. Olivia is a three-year-old terrier mix who is 59 pounds of pure love. Just one look into her endearing eyes and you'll fall for her just like we did!

Olivia recently had entropion surgery on both eyes and is recovering wonderfully in her amazing foster home! In spite of all she's been through, Olivia is the epitome of grace and affection! She is finally able to enjoy some well-deserved toys now that she is free from her surgical cone! She will be a true blessing to the family that is lucky enough to bring her home!

Olivia is a nurturing mom and deserves to have a family spoil her! She has a gentle demeanor and loves everyone she meets! Olivia knows "sit" and takes all sorts of treats tenderly. Her foster family is able to take away toys and treats with no issues. She is always ready to soak up all the love you have to give and likes to lean in for some well-deserved snuggles.

Olivia is also house-trained! She loves cruising the yard with her foster brother and has really found comfort in being with him. She likes to run in short bursts, but is definitely more of a laid-back lady. A yard for her to enjoy would be perfect for her. We think she'd make an excellent buddy for another low key pup! Olivia is good on her leash and enjoys a slower paced walk. She is also great in the car and is ready to accompany you wherever you may go.

Olivia is quite the loving pup and will nudge herself nice and close for some enjoyable head scratches. If that wasn't adorable enough, Olivia loves to talk to her people and show them her appreciation for taking such good care of her. Her foster family completely adores her and says she has been the best girl! They have left her out when at work and she has been on her best behavior! At the end of a relaxing day, Olivia sleeps quietly through the night, dreaming of her forever family.

Based on our evaluation, we feel Olivia would do well in a relaxing home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. She may have the ability to live with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.

Please show Olivia there's more to life than her past. She deserves to experience all the wonderful things about being a part of a loving family. Head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and fill out an application for mellow mama Olivia. Let's not have her wait any longer for her life to truly begin!
