Meet Griffin, our 10-month-old Schnauzer mix with a striking black and white coat. Weighing in at 52 pounds, Griffin is full of love and energy. He joined our CAMO family after his previous owner faced housing issues and could no longer keep him. Since then, Griffin has shown us just how much he thrives on human interaction. With a natural instinct to comfort his human companions, Griffin is always there to offer a gentle nudge when he senses anxiety or sadness.
Griffin loves to play outside with his doggie friends, enjoying every opportunity to stretch his long legs and run laps in the yard. He's also cat-friendly, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. Griffin is house trained and rides well in the car, making him a perfect travel buddy.
While Griffin loves kids and is incredibly gentle, he sometimes doesn't realize how big he is. He would do best in a home with older kids as the young ones seem to scare him. Griffin is also working on his leash walking; he tends to pull out of excitement but is making great progress as he learns. With his playful spirit and eagerness to please, Griffin is a joy to have around and a loyal companion in the making. CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another.
