Meet Spree, a kitten with a personality as delightful as her name. Her sweet and friendly demeanor makes her a joy to be around.
Spree’s greatest talent is her voice! If you want a constant shadow who loves to sing the song of her people and maybe sit on your shoulder while she does, this is your girl!
As a follower, she enjoys staying close, offering comfort and companionship. She enjoys being her humans little shadow.
Spree is an expert cat tree climber, showing off her agility and love for high places. She would love to watch the world go by on one of her very own! She is also fond of perching on shoulders, providing a unique bond between her and her human.
She’s very human and cat social. She can coexist with a very chill dog, but she is definitely team cat person.
Adopting Spree would not just mean bringing a pet home, it would mean gaining a loving, playful, and attentive friend who would fill your life with joy and companionship.
Spree is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
