Meet Felix!

This cute 2 year-old tabby was found as a friendly stray. Felix is a great mix of affection, and a sassy spirit that's sure to keep you on your toes.

Felix is energetic and enjoys playing but also appreciates affection. He wants to be around his people, doing whatever they are doing. Felix also appreciates his time to himself. Napping in a sunny spot, hanging out in a window to watch the world go by.

Felix would prefer to be the only cat, as he believes his charm is more than enough for one household. This handsome guy is ready to make his way into your heart and home.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.

Animal House of South East Michigan is a 501 (c)3 no-kill animal rescue organization. We work primarily with cats and dogs through adoption, owner assistance and community education. We are a non-profit rescue that is run entirely by volunteers. We work in partnership with our local PetSmart, located on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, MI.
