Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi!! My name is Aspen! I'm a German Shepherd about 6 months old. I came to my fosters from a family that didn't want me or Jasmine, who has a great home now! I don't know what happened, but I'm a strong girl, and nothing is gonna get me down!
I LOVE to play!!! The cats, the dogs, the horses, I love playing with them! Sometimes, the other dogs don't want to play as much, so if I have a doggy playmate, I hope they're just as playful as me! I'm learning that the cats don't like to play rough, but they like kisses. My favorite toy is literally anything! Everything can be super fun to play with! Crunchy toys are my favorite!
I love cuddles and snuggles so much! I love being with my fosters all the time! Wherever they go, I want to go! I especially love couch cuddle time!
I am still learning where to do the potty thing, but I'm learning! I haven't had an accident in a month!
I really want a family I can call my own. The foster dogs are so happy with their peoples, I want people of my own. (***And she deserves them and more! She is an absolute sweetheart and so beautiful!***). I'm not a jumper either, so I won't jump on kids or older peoples.
My fosters say my adoption donation/fee partially covers expenses to take care of me and my fostermates. They said I'm spayed, vaccinated (3 times with DHPP and 1 rabies), and microchipped!
***If interested, please reach out. Our first step in adoption is filling out our adoption application. We will consider out of state adoptions, but please expect this to be a more complex process.

Additional adoption info
We do require adoption fees on most pets. The fee varies depending on the pet, the age, the vaccines and the spay/neuter cost. Through this fee, we are able to help alleviate the medical costs.
We have basic standards for our foster pets' safety and well-being, and 9 times out of 10, those standards are easily met. These usually fall along ensuring fence security, ensuring existing pets accept the pet, etc. This is determined through a meeting with the pet and his/her future family in our home check. Cats are strictly indoors. Dogs must be within fenced yards if outside is accessible.

Currently, we meet potential adopters on a one-on-one basis to determine the best fit for our fosters.

More about this rescue
As a family, we've started taking in strays in 2007 and adopting them out to the public. Eventually, we've made contacts with the local shelter to adopt healthy pets from who are on the PTS (put-to-sleep) list due to the unfortunate lack of space at the shelter. Further, we bottle-feed and adopt out kittens and puppies who would otherwise have been euthanized. On a personal note, these bottle-fed babies are some of the best animals you will ever meet or make part of your family.
We are a very small rescue group and do what we can to help Earth's creatures find loving, permanent homes.
