Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Willow is an approx 2 yr old female GSD. She is definitely more of an introvert and somewhat shy, but she's come a long way since we picked her up. She is doing so well and building her confidence meeting new people, kids, and other dogs! Her perfect home would be a relaxed home. She gets nervous when she's bombarded, so a patient family would be great for her! Nothing could be better than sitting with you watching movies with some toys to play with! Anywhere you are, she wants to be. She wants to play with the cats like she plays with the dogs, and she gets super excited (which scares the cats). So, because of that energy, we're saying a family without cats would be best. She LOVES to play with other dogs and gets along with most of them! She is potty trained and kennel trained. Her favorite toy is a stuffed squirrel that she likes to fling around - super fun!! A $50 adoption donation/fee would partially cover medical and care expenses. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. More photos on request! We can only upload 1 here. ***If interested, please reach out. Our first step in adoption is filling out our adoption application. We will consider out of state adoptions, but please expect this to be a bit more complex.

Additional adoption info
We do require adoption fees on most pets. The fee varies depending on the pet, the age, the vaccines and the spay/neuter cost. Through this fee, we are able to help alleviate the medical costs.
We have basic standards for our foster pets' safety and well-being, and 9 times out of 10, those standards are easily met. These usually fall along ensuring fence security, ensuring existing pets accept the pet, etc. This is determined through a meeting with the pet and his/her future family in our home check. Cats are strictly indoors. Dogs must be within fenced yards if outside is accessible.

Currently, we meet potential adopters on a one-on-one basis to determine the best fit for our fosters.

More about this rescue
As a family, we've started taking in strays in 2007 and adopting them out to the public. Eventually, we've made contacts with the local shelter to adopt healthy pets from who are on the PTS (put-to-sleep) list due to the unfortunate lack of space at the shelter. Further, we bottle-feed and adopt out kittens and puppies who would otherwise have been euthanized. On a personal note, these bottle-fed babies are some of the best animals you will ever meet or make part of your family.
We are a very small rescue group and do what we can to help Earth's creatures find loving, permanent homes.
