If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Odin is the sweetest, most tender cat. When I found Odie, he had been run over and I thought I was taking him to my vet to be euthanized. But, they thought there was a small possibility he could make it. So, I brought him home. He made it! He lived in my bathroom for a year. It took that amount of time to gain his trust. He has some slight mobility issues due to accident. And fragile control over his bladder.
It’s been a slow process helping him find his courage. I have a wild orange tabby that terrifies Odin. He wants to be friends but Walter (orange tabby) doesn’t know how to interact in a relaxed manner. It’s become clear that they are not going to integrate. Odie gets along with my dog, so I believe he would do well with other calm animals. Or alone with a loving human.
