My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bronx is the definition of a loyal and loving companion. This sweet boy has a knack for melting hearts with his soulful puppy dog eyes and his endearing "resting sad face. Don't let his expression fool you-Bronx is full of love and tenderness, ready to share it with his future family.

Bronx shines on his walks, showing perfect leash manners while sporting his harness like a pro. In the car, he's the ultimate gentleman, riding quietly and calmly by your side. At mealtime, he's polite and gentle, taking treats with the utmost care.

This well-mannered pup adores people of all ages, including kids, and is a joy to have in the house. However, the kennel environment causes him stress, so Bronx is yearning for a calm and loving home where he can truly relax and thrive.

If you're looking for a best friend who is kind, composed, and full of love to give, Bronx is your guy. He's ready to leave the kennel life behind and start a new chapter with a family who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them. Could that be you?

Give Bronx the loving home he deserves-he's ready to meet you today!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
