Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Henry was adopted from us in 2018 and is not adapting well to the new human baby in his family. The cries and large change in the household have made him anxious and his family has made the difficult decision to find him a home better suited to his needs where he can enjoy his senior years. Henry is house trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with the cats that he currently lives with as well as the other 2 dogs. He can be possessive of his toys with other dogs so a home where he doesn't have to share - or a home with a dog who doesn't care about toys is his best match. Henry has enjoyed lots of adventures with his family, from hiking and lake trips to simply snuggling under the covers while watching a move; he is happy to adapt his energy to whatever you are doing! He is 10-11 years old and weighs approximately 55 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week! Turn in an adoption interest form at https://waggingtailsrescue.org/dog-adoption/ to learn more about this dog and schedule a meet and greet! Additionally, we have an adoption event every Saturday from 11-1pm at Petco (645 S Green Valley Parkway) where you can come and visit our adoptable dogs. We hope to hear from you soon! Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application, once received you will be called within 48 hours to answer any questions and schedule a time to meet the dog that you are interested in. If it feels like a match at that time then the adoption is completed with a contract, an adoption fee is paid (ranging from $150-$400) and you receive all medical records with your new dog. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.
