My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at that face, what a beauty! Reesa is a 2.5-year-old Beagle and Basset mix and currently weighing 22 pounds.  Reesa takes on more of the Beagle traits regarding size, think 19” Beagle. Reesa is a very sweet girl and is vaccinated, house trained but not a fan of the create.

Reesa is true to her breed, and she is very active and noisy, she will investigate anything she thinks has food on or in it, and she has the typical Beagle prey drive and would do better in a home without cats.  She loves to cuddle with you when you are relaxing or even sleeping right next to you at night.  Reesa has done great with all the dogs in her foster home and all of them are bigger than her and would really enjoy a home with another dog!

If you are interested in adopting Reesa, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
