Laila is a 17lb 9-year-old Pom/Chi mix, spayed female. Laila is a shy girl with a heart of gold! She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Once she warms up, you'll have a lap buddy for life. Laila is nervous at first. Her nerves get the best of her, and she'll drool 🤤. After a couple of days, this will stop. Once she feels comfortable and realizes she's in his hands, her true personality comes out, and she's a complete doll. Laila has been with dogs big and small and a cat and does just fine. Laila likes respectful children but would prefer a quieter home and be the center of attention. House trained.Laila can't wait to find her forever home. Additional adoption info

Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
