My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LIBERTY – Cattle Dog Mix / 4.5 Years / 20kg / F–Spayed

Hi there, future BFF! I’m Liberty, a sweet and sensitive, still on the lookout for my forever family!

Who am I? I’m the girl with golden eyes who can melt your heart with just one look. I’m pretty low-maintenance, I promise. I’ll try my bestest to be a good girl — I really will, I am a people pleaser! But full disclosure: I can be a bit shy and scared at times as I like to know I can trust you first. A gentle touch, when I ask, and some patience will have me nudging you for pets in no time.

A few things about me:

Crate Queen: I love my crate and won’t mind if you need to leave me alone for a couple of hours. (I’ve never made a mess in the house—unless you count the occasional toy explosion!)

Dog-friendly: Have a calm dog who can show me the ropes? I’m game! Cats? Only if they’re dog-savvy, like the one I’m currently living with (she’s a boss, and I respect that).

Kid Cautious: Kids are cool, but I prefer ones who are 10+ and understand doggy boundaries. No screaming or running past me, please.

Man-shy: Gentlemen, if you give me space, I’ll come to you when I’m ready — especially if you’ve got treats or head scratches!

My Daily Routine: I’m an explorer at heart and love being outside, even in the rain! Mention water, and I’m already diving in for a swim and fetching sticks. After a good run, I’ll patiently wait for breakfast, and then I’ll play quietly with a toy while you work.

My future home will have a fully fenced yard, people home most of the time and lots of love and patience! If you think I'm the perfect pup for you, please apply to be my forever family – www.dibsrescue.com. My adoption fee is $750. I can’t wait to meet you!
