My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! We are a mother/daughter duo of young ladies looking for a home where we can stay together.

I'm Sweet Pea, a 14- month- old spayed female, grey and white short hair with some great markings. I'm the shyest of the two, preferring to find a quiet place to survey the scene. I'm very affectionate however, once I know who you are. My daughter is Poppy, a 9-month-old spayed female, short hair black and white. Like any kitten she is outgoing and playful. We are always in close proximity of each other however and need to stay that way.

Because we are young, we are very healthy. Our teeth are nice and white, we've had our FVCRP, Rabies, microchips, and have been tested for FeLV/FIV which was negative. Our previous owner wanted to make sure we had everything to keep us happy and healthy, so we also come with toys, collars, carrier, scratching post, and plenty of wet and dry food.

To make sure we stay together, Safe Place is discounting our normal adoption donation $25.00. So, you can get us both for $150.00 including all the things mentioned above! Visit www.safeplacepets.org to complete an application today!

Additional adoption info

Please check out our available pets and contact us to let us know which one(s) interest you. We'll arrange a site visit to your home and a meet-and-greet with your prospective pet once we have had a phone chat to determine if our rescue pet is a good fit for you and you for him/her. If you and the pet decide it's true love, we'll have you fill out an adoption contract and ask for an adoption donation (rather than a fee) of $100 per cat and $200 per dog. A certificate of adoption is mailed to you once the process is complete.
